  • The reason that the Congress cannot stop funding the way isn't because President Bush has usurped its authority, it is because a super majority does not yet exist to override the veto.

  • This is utterly ridiculous. The Constitution bestows the President with the title of Commander in Chief. The end. George Bush has openly invited the Congress to stop funding the way, but their reticence is merely a testament to their half-heartedness.
